Mercy Me...Date Night!!!

I know the picture quality isn't very good but that's because these came from my phone. Oh all people to decide not to bring a camera to something...why me??? On Friday night, Tripp and I went on a date night with very dear friends of ours to a concert. It was Mercy Me with opening act Bebo Norman. I had seen Mercy Me once before and it was just as good again. I could see them over and over again. If you haven't listen to anything of theres please check them out. They are a comtemporary christian group and they are awesome. It was so much fun and memories that will last forever. We even got to sit in the very "FRONT ROW!" What a blessing...dear friends, great concert, great laughs and front row sits. WOW! Oh yeah, we were on the big screen like a thousand times as well but that was a little embarrassing. We couldn't stop laughing about it.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Avery K!!!

A week or so before Avery was born her Aunt Krissi painted my belly to look like a pumpkin to make into a card for everyone. We laughed so hard during this we almost peed our pants. A lot of people didn't even realize that it was my belly and not me holding a real pumpkin. Aunt Krissi did an awesome job.

We love you, Avery K. I remember the day like it was yesterday. This is a very special woman in our families lives. The day Avery was born she came up to the hospital and spent time holding Avery and taking lots of pictures for us. The girls call her Aunt Kappy. She started a tradition last year of bringing the girls a "birthday sprinkle donut" and this morning their was a knock at the door with a special delivery for Little Miss. Thank you, Aunt Kappy. We love you!

Avery's Wall-E Party

Yesterday evening we celebrated Avery's 3rd birthday with a Wall-E party. Her actual birthday isn't until this coming Friday, but this weekend just worked out really well to have a party. It was a lot of fun. We are all just trying to recupe right now. But as you can tell from the pictures, the fun never slowed down. I still cannot believe our baby is turning 3. Happy Birthday, my Boo. We love you!

Weekend fun

This weekend we traveled a little ways up the road to watch two of our nephews play soccer. They both played really good and it was so good to see them all. We don't get to see them as often as we'd like to. Their family now lives about an hour from us. You wouldn't think that would be that hard but between the two of our families and activities we don't get to see them all. The kids got to play on an awesome playground in between games and then we went back to their house for lunch. We hope it make it back to their place soon.

MEGA fun today

So far this morning we've been inside and out...many times and played MEGA loud fun with these megaphones I had left over from our Lifecare tailgate party. The kids play with those things for about an hour. They found all kinds of ways to play with them including trying to put them on our dog, Sport, but he didn't care for it too much. It wasn't on him long enough that I could get a picture. We've also swung, slid, climbed and chased Sport back through our fence from crawling underneath into our neighbors yard. We are talking MEGA fun today...and it's just morning!!!

Pony tails and Puppy Dog tails

A day in the life of Avery...building the biggest tower she can with the blocks we've got, making cheesy faces, laughing at everything and then knocking down the biggest tower. Avery loves building with our blocks. And it's very good at it if I don't say so myself. While she builds with all of these blocks she talks to them, me and herself the entire time. Most of the time cracking herself up. Avery is such a ham. I feel sorry for her first teacher because she is going to try and be the class clown.
This is our dog, Sport. We aren't forsure that he realizes he's just a dog because he enjoys spending time in window seals and sliding under our fence in the backyard. He's a great dog with A LOT of character and energy. Sport is great with our kids and loves on them when he's not running around the house like a mad man. Sport is also as smart as a whip. Tripp has been able to teach him many tricks including to sign please when he wants to eat one of Tripp's grapes or peaches. That's right folks...our dog is a healthy eater. ;-) We don't know forsure where the eating of fruits came from but as soon as Tripp pulls them out of the refridgerator Sport starts to whine and comes and sits on the couch where he knows Tripp is heading to eat. We are so glad Santa brought Sport into our lives last Christmas. At first we thought Santa was crazy, but now we wouldn't know what to do without our Sport.
