We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend. Friday evening was spent with some of our closest friends. We went to a pool party, spent some blessed time with our friends, and watched as both of our girls were "really" swimming and jumping into to the pool for the first time. It was awesome! And they both were so excited. On Saturday, Tripp and his Dad got to hang out with the girls by themselves while I helped with some activities that were taking place up at the church. Later that night, Tripp got to take Austyn, his Dad and friends of ours to a baseball game. They had a wonderful time. Sunday was spent doing whatever Daddy wanted to do. We went to church that morning and what an amazing service it was. We went from there to one of our favorite old hang outs called Dave and Buster's. His Dad used to take us there when we first moved down here. After we worn the girls out playing games and eating lots of good food we traveled to Aunt Krissi and Uncle Rody's. The men did some skeet shooting while the kiddos played in the water with their puppies. We also watched the us open golf championship. It was a busy yet blessed weekend. I am so lucky to have a wonderful husband who loves our girls, cares for them and helps with all the day to day activities of our family. He provides the girls with encouragement when they are down or frustrated, kisses when they fall, security when they have a bad dream and a love them will never forget from their Daddy. And it's been so awesome to be a witness to God working on making him such a wonderful spiritual leader too. We are so lucky to have him!
