A Hippie Kind of Squirrel

Austyn's class was suppose to be a grey or brown squirrel for their play recently and well I wait until the last possible minute to figure out what to do. SO...in order to make her ears, I made two ponytails and tucked them back into her pony. THEN...took two of my durags that at peace signs on them and put them around the "ears" to hold them into place. They were suppose to be in grey or brown sweats...so we throw on our sweats and tucked a furry sock into the back of her sweat pants and called it good. Presenting my little Hippie Kind of Squirrel :-)

Can you tell just how scared she was once they walked in and saw all of us parents waiting for them. It was so cute!

She had a speaking part and did GREAT!
